Enquiry

The design process starts with an email. We try to contact my customers within 48 hours of receiving their enquiry form. We will then send you a comprehensive questionnaire to better understand what you would like from Open Envelope. Your initial inquiry should be made between 3 – 12 months prior to your wedding.

Consultation

If you are in the Gauteng area, We am happy to schedule a consultation with you to chat about your wedding stationery needs in person.

Quote

Shortly after the initial consultation a quote will be emailed to you. If you are happy with the quote – you can go ahead and pay the 50% deposit for your order to be considered placed.

Design + Sample

Once your deposit has been paid and reflects in our account, then the fun part starts! It takes between 1 – 2 weeks for us to design your invitation and send the digital proposal to you. You will then have the opportunity to share what you like/dislike and request any changes at this time. We allow 3 round of design revisions. Our goal is for you to LOVE your invitations.

Approval

Once you are completely happy with your sample, you will then sign off the final sample and your design goes to printing.

Production + Printing

Printing is done offsite with one of our printing partners. Production normally takes 3 – 4 weeks. Since each project is bespoke, times may vary for different projects. The production time for each order varies and depends on the complexity of the project as well as the quantity.

Delivery

Once printing and production is completed you will receive an email from Open Envelope confirming delivery address. You have the option to collect from us or have your pretty items couriered to you. We can courier invitations all over South Africa and internationally.
